American Apparel is hosting one of their famous Flea Market events, running Thursday, March 19 through Saturday, March 21 of Music.
American Apparel is the largest clothing manufacturer in the United States. It is a vertically-integrated clothing manufacturer, wholesaler, and retailer that also performs its own design, advertising, and marketing. The company is known for a number of progressive policies including promoting immigrant rights and labor policies the company dubs “sweatshop free.” (americanapparel.net)
The AA Flea Market will be two blocks west of the Austin Convention Center and Hilton Hotel and two blocks south of the heart of 6th Street at the American Youthworks building on 4th and San Jacinto (216 E 4th St, Austin, TX 78701).
What to expect:
- discounted merchandise for boys and girls, and
- open to the public from 11am-8pm each day
- unique samples
- basic favorites at super low prices
- live DJ sets and music by Viva Radio
- ice cream and refreshments
